Who Am I?

My name is Dr. Vijaya Kittu Manda

I am a:

Student: Currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work (MSW), my 13th University Postgraduation degree if I can complete on time. I am a life-long learner and believe academic education does make an impact on who you can be. I was never out of academics since school days. My academic qualifications include: MSc (Comp Sci), MCA, MPhil (Comp Sci), MBA, MA (Eco), MSc (Appl Psych), LLM, MA (JMC), MA (Edu), MLISc, Masters in Renewable Energy and Environment (MScREE), and a PhD in Financial Management
Teacher:
- I teach Information Management (MBA Ist Semester) and Introduction to Machine Learning (Practical) at SRM IST - Online, Chennai, India. Earlier, I taught Natural Language Processing (MBA AI - IIIrd Semester), and Behavioral Finance (MBA Finance - IVth Semester)

- I teach on Personal Finance, Stock Markets (Fundamental Analysis, Technical Analysis & Mutual Funds), Passive Investing (Index Funds, ETFs, REIT and InvIT), Taxation, Blockchain, Metaverse, DeFi, Web 3, Crypocurrencies and Industry 5.0 and other topics as part of KWJ Seminars and Webinars.
Researcher: I am a Ph.D. in Management (Finance). My thesis is on Structural measures of competition amongst Actively-managed Indian Midcap Mutual Funds. The thesis won the NSE-IEA Best Research Thesis Award 2023. I am currently doing my second Ph.D., in Computer Science, on Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Banking and Financial Services. I intend to do a PhD in Psychology later, if time permits before entering into a Post-Doc. I write research papers on a wide range of topics. Resource Person: I am a Resource Person for a wide range of programs - academic events and industrial talks. I give guest lecture on various topics - on Motivational Topics, on Management Topics, especially finance, on Technologies (AI and Blockchain) and academic research topics for various academic institutions and at industry meets.
Author: I authored and edited books with reputed publishers.
Peer Reviewer: I review manuscripts of journals, conferences, and books. I reviewed 775 works so far as of September 29, 2026. I strongly believe that good constructive feedback can be given to authors so that their work can make a positive impact to the society.
Editor: I am the Chief Editor for a Management Book Series - Perspectives on Business Management & Economics (PMBE) accessible from PBME.in. I have several edited books from IGI Global and Bentham Science which are already Scopus-indexed.

About Me (Short Bio)

Dr. Vijaya Kittu Manda is a multi-dimensional personal. He is a Researcher at PBMEIT, India. He is an Advocate, a Technocrat, an Academician, a Book-writer, Editor, Peer-Reviewer and a stock market enthusiast. He has 12 University Postgraduate Degrees in various disciplines ranging from Arts and Humanities to Sustainability to Regenerative Economy, and from Management to Engineering. He is a Ph.D. in Financial Management. His thesis on Mutual Funds and their Market Competition won the prestigious NSE-IEA Best Thesis Award in 2023. He is currently pursuing his second Ph.D. in Computer Science with focus on Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence. He has nearly 13+ years of experience in capital markets, financial planning, and investing. He writes Research Papers and Case Studies, Case Reports (of Medical Journals) and sits on Editorial Boards of various publishers. He has 161 research paper publications of which 83 are Scopus-indexed. He has 667+ Google Scholar citations with a h-index of 13 and i10 index of 25. He has 315 citations in Scopus from 205 sources with a h-index of 10. He wrote over 785+ magazine article publications so far. He is the Chief Editor for a Management Book Series and the Editor of several Scopus-indexed books. He is a Peer Reviewer and is a Certified Peer Review Supervisor. He frequently reviews for leading publishers including IEEE, Springer, Emerald, Sage, amongst others. He sits as a Session Chair and an Advisor for various academic and industrial conferences.
