Abstract: Organizations worldwide operate in increasingly volatile and uncertain environments shaped by rapid technological and social change. In this context, organizational agility and adaptivity have become critical capabilities. Yet many firms continue to struggle with resistance to change, fragmented knowledge flows, leadership rigidity, and tensions between performance pressures and human-centered management. Existing research treats these challenges in isolation, leaving a gap in integrative frameworks that connect behavior, learning, knowledge, and ethical governance. This conceptual study advances an interdisciplinary perspective that positions agility as a behaviorally grounded, knowledge-driven, and dignity-sensitive capability. Drawing on Indian philosophical principles and the Bhagavad Gita, it reframes impermanence, ethical action, collective responsibility, and experiential learning as universal managerial logics. Illustrative cases demonstrate how these principles can inform leadership, learning systems, and governance practices to build resilient and adaptive organizations.
